The Colorado post will come a little later, because it's gonna take me a really long time to post all of that stuff. :) So right now I'll just do Dad's birthday post, which was March 11.
This is a chocolate, peanut butter, more chocolate, and more peanut butter cake. :D Here's my recipe:
Cake:
Ingredients:
One box chocolate cake.
Instructions: Make as directed on box.
Filling:
Ingredients:
1 cup of peanut butter
1 stick of butter
2 cups of powdered sugar
milk
Instructions: Melt the butter and mix it with the peanut butter. Add the sugar a little bit at a time. If it's too thick, add some milk. If it's already frosting consistency, you're good to go. Place filling on the first layer of the cake. Now place the second layer of the cake on top of the filling.
Frosting:
Ingredients:
One container of chocolate frosting from Wal-Mart
Instructions: Frost cake all the way around
Topping:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup butter
1/8 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions: Melt butter and mix with peanut butter. Add vanilla. Add sugar and blend with a blender. It should be crumbly. Take crumbs and sprinkle over top of cake. Some peanut butter crumble may be left over, depending on how much you put on the top; you can either eat this or...I can't think why you would do anything other than eat this. A tall glass of milk goes nicely with it.
Ta-da! That's how you make Kelsie's Peanut Butter Chocolate More Peanut Butter More Chocolate Cake! :D
