Half Empty/Half Full

If I told you what I did on Sunday, you might hear the events of the day kind of like this.

Today I had to get up an hour earlier than I would've liked. It was hard to get down the stairs, as usual, and then when I was in the kitchen trying to make breakfast I tripped over my crutch and crash-landed on the tile floor. We had to rush out the door to get to church on time, and no one was really very happy. There was a silent auction today to raise money for camp, but very few people bid on my items. I had to stand at the door and be a greeter, which is hard on crutches. Then after church I came home and had to do a bunch of homework. After I finally got done with all of it, it was time for lunch. After lunch I took a nap, but my mom woke me up after an hour. We went to the park, but of course I couldn't walk, so my mom just wheeled me around. Finally, we came home and ate dinner. I had a baked potato, but it was weird and the cheese didn't melt right so it tasted funny. Then I took a bath, which means hanging my foot out of the tub which is difficult, and went to lay in bed for an hour and a half before falling asleep.

This is what I choose to see it as, though. :)

Today I woke up early to go to church. I managed to get down the stairs again. When I was in the kitchen, I tripped on a crutch and fell, but I managed to take most of the impact with my right knee which saved my ankle from any injury. There was a silent auction to raise money for camp, and even though not many people bid, I still got a few bids - some of them to make cake! I came home and finished my homework for the weekend pretty fast. I got to eat Pei Wei for lunch, which was yummy. Then I took a nap, and slept for a full hour before my mom woke me up. We walked to the park, and my mom pushed me in my wheelchair. Then I managed to hop over to a swing and swing for awhile before we went home. I had a baked potato for dinner, and we watched the Amazing Race finale. I took a bath, and finally went upstairs and fell asleep.
